Why join the Florida Biofuel & Bioenergy Association?

The Florida BioFuel & Bioenergy Association (FBBA) is the premier association in Florida and the Southeastern United States that advocates for the enhanced use, and economic development of first, second, and third generation biofuels, as well as biomass to power.

FBBA serves as the voice of the biofuels industry in Florida, and the Southeastern United States. We are the only association in the Southeast comprised of executive level leadership from both the public and private sector including but not limited government officials, farmers, engineers, attorneys, facility developers, and past government officials with relevant “hands on” experience. The FBBA members share best practices and serve as a data base for critical information in the bioenergy sector.

FBBA members benefit from centralized and proven network comprised of executive level leadership ranging from a mixed use of public and private industry leaders.
FBBA provides each member with an existing infrastructure that will enable and leverage relationships with local, state, and federal entities such as the state universities, Florida Energy Systems Consortium, Enterprise Florida, the Florida Legislature, Executive Office of the Governor, various state agencies, municipalities, Renewable Fuels Association, the National Association of State Energy Offices, the United States Department of Energy, United States Department of Agriculture, and the Congress.

FBBA regularly updates members on Federal and State legislation, and any member can petition the FBBA Board of Directors for support of legislative proposal through the Board’s Executive Director.
